Visualization

MICRONOR has been working with the largest and most innovative firms in Asia for many years. These companies develop and produce TFT, LCD and OLED products. Thanks to our own infrastructure in Switzerland, we can apply any customer-specific adaptations to these products and offer you a complete visualization solution.

Hand-held programming units
MICRONOR supplies customer-specific hand-held programming units for the widest variety of requirements. Our modular system allows us to produce your own individual hand-held controller based on existing assemblies, whether these be required for use in a cold room, for setting up machine tools or for medical devices. Our hand-held programming units can be equipped with standardized RS232/485, CANBus or Ethernet interfaces. We identify the optimum solution for you, whether what is required is the digital handwheel or the entire hand-held programming unit.

Geared limit switches
MICRONOR develops and manufactures a large number of geared limit switch variants. These appliances offer an extremely high degree of reliability and can be combined with encoders of all kinds, with 4-20mA current or a 0-10V voltage interface. Apart from a large standard range, the connecting shaft, flange and housing can all be adapted in response to your wishes, as can the cabling. You can find more about our special appliances under Engineering & Services Small-scale switching tasks can be handled by MICRONOR time and incremental switches, simply and with no outlay on electronics being required. These appliances are robust and extremely reliable, even when operating at temperatures as high as +120°C or as low as -40°C. They are very simple to use and can be mastered by anyone after a very brief introductory period.

Motorized potentiometers
MICRONOR motorized potentiometers can be used for any control function. These appliances are used specifically for regulating emergency power generator units or in the field of plastics processing, as well as for a variety of control functions. MICRONOR offers a wide variety of motorized potentiometers. We are still in a position to manufacture and supply our customers with motorized potentiometers which have been in service in large-scale plants for more than 40 years. A reference number on the actual appliance allows us to identify each item individually.

 

Encoders
MICRONOR encoders are in use in all imaginable industrial processes for the purpose of recording actual values. Encoders are used wherever there is a need to record lengths, positions speeds and angles. They convert mechanical movements into electrical signals. As a basic principle, MICRONOR supplies all types of encoders in shaft and no-shaft versions. If you require an encoder, then we are sure to have the exact item available. Apart from all sizes of incremental encoders, we also offer absolute, single-turn, multi-turn and field bus encoders. Our wide range of encoder accessories provides you with an effective range of connecting technology from a single source.

 

Resolvers
MICRONOR resolvers are extremely robust absolute encoders for use over an extremely high rotational speed range of up to 100,000 rpm, at temperatures of up to 250°C or exposed to radioactivity. Apart from individual resolvers, MICRONOR also supplies complete resolver units. We are also able to recreate any obsolete resolver solutions from companies no longer present on the market or no longer supplying the relevant appliances. In this way, we can maintain the added-value aspect of your plant. Just ask us!

 

Fiber optic sensors
MICRONOR optical products are based 100% on fiber optics. We make use of light in an innovative and elegant way to fulfill complex sensing requirements. These new sensors show themselves to be particularly advantageous and reliable under extremely rough and difficult environmental conditions. Areas of application such as in deep-drilling sites, wind generators, railway rolling stock, nuclear plants, aircraft braking systems and steelworks are where these products come into their own. Thanks to 100% optics and with light as the transmission medium, cabling is significantly simpler than when using copper cabling, and transmission distances present no problem. MICRONOR supplies the complete solution, inclusive of cabling, the plug-fit system and the necessary analysis modules.

 

Inclination sensors
MICRONOR gradient sensors are based on a silicon micro-mechanism and are ideal for machinery and vehicle construction, as well as for medical technology. These products can be supplied in one or two-dimensional versions. Given the corresponding design features, these sensors can also measure acceleration rates.
